Redmi K80 Pro Phone

Overview

The Redmi K80 Pro phone series is expected to arrive in India soon, with a teaser suggesting that not all models from the series will be available. The base model launched in China is priced at approximately CNY 4,300, which translates to around ₹51,000, and higher configurations will likely follow suit with corresponding prices.

Design and Display 

Both models will showcase a 2K resolution screen developed by TCL, which boasts a peak brightness of 1,800 nits and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, both devices will include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for enhanced security. Additionally, the Redmi K80 Pro will provide robust protection with its IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring durability against dust and water. Consequently, users can expect high performance and reliability from these features.

Camera and Processor

The Redmi K80 will utilize the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the K80 Pro will feature the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Moreover, the K80 Pro is anticipated to achieve an impressive score of over 3 million points on AnTuTu 2210.

In addition to these powerful processors, the Redmi K80 Pro will come equipped with a triple camera setup, which includes a 50 MP primary camera, a 50 MP telephoto camera, and a 32 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. Furthermore, it will also boast a 20 MP selfie camera, enhancing its photography capabilities significantly.

Battery  

The device will feature a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

Potential Rebranding

The Redmi K80 and K80 Pro may be rebranded as the Poco F7 and F7 Pro in markets outside of China in 2025.
