The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to launch in July 2025, following the recent release of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 just four months ago. Samsung is reportedly preparing for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 along with the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

indicating that pre-orders will also begin on the same day. Consequently, this exciting revelation not only emphasizes the device’s sleek aesthetic but also sets the stage for its highly awaited launch.

Design and Display 

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 features a flat frame with color-matching camera sensors, creating a clean aesthetic. However, some sources suggest that the design may shift towards slightly more curved edges to enhance comfort during prolonged use.

Concept designs indicate that the cover display will be significantly larger, nearly occupying the entire rear of the device, similar to the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. This expanded screen could improve usability by allowing users to access more functionality without needing to unfold the phone.

In addition to the main screen, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will include a secondary cover display, which will likely measure around 3.46 inches and have a resolution of 720 x 748 pixels. This smaller screen will allow users to view notifications and engage in quick interactions without needing to open the device.

Camera and Processor

A significant change in the Galaxy Z Flip 7 involves Samsung vertically stacking the camera setup instead of using the horizontal layout seen in previous models.

The new model may include a total of three cameras, potentially featuring a zoom camera, which the Flip series has previously lacked.

Battery and SIM

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is rumored to feature a 5000 mAh battery, upgrading from the 4000 mAh battery in the Z Flip 6. This increase in capacity aims to enhance battery life and overall performance, especially as Samsung integrates more efficient processors like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Launch Date

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is anticipated to launch in mid-2025, with a strong likelihood of an August 2025 release. This timing aligns with Samsung’s typical annual schedule for its foldable smartphones, which often sees announcements during the summer months, particularly around the Samsung Unpacked event. Additionally, the Z Flip 7 may be unveiled alongside other models, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and potentially a more affordable Galaxy Z Flip FE, also expected in the second half of 2025.
