Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Overview
The Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature updates to its camera design and software capabilities. Controversy has erupted between OnLeaks and Ice Universe regarding the camera setup, but confirmation has emerged that the camera rings will resemble those on the Z Fold 6.Reports indicate that while the S25 Ultra will maintain its camera layout, it will showcase a new look for the lenses, including thick, dark rings around each one, similar to those found on the Z Fold 6. The anticipated upgrades also include a 50MP ultra-wide camera, enhancing its photographic capabilities significantly
Design Changes
Samsung is transitioning to a flat design for the S25 Ultra, with roundish corners, reminiscent of the Galaxy S6 Edge. The S25 series may include anti-reflective coating across all models.
Display Features
The S25 Ultra will feature an M13 panel, which is less bright and power-efficient compared to the M14 found in competitors like Pixel and iPhone. There are concerns about the potential use of low frequency PWM, which may not be suitable for sensitivity to eye strain. Despite the use of the M13 panel, it is expected to be the best display phone available.
Camera Specifications and Performance Enhancement
The camera specifications in the Galaxy S25 Ultra mirror those of the S24 Ultra, featuring a 200 MP main camera, a 10 MP 3x zoom lens, a 50 MP 5x zoom lens, and a new generation 3 ultra-wide-angle camera. The S25 series will run on the Qualcomm 8 Elite chipset, which includes custom CPU cores clocked at 4.32 GHz. Qualcomm promises that this chipset will deliver a 45% increase in CPU performance and a 44% improvement in power efficiency compared to previous models; additionally, the GPU will operate 40% faster and be more power-efficient.
User Interface and Software
The S25 series will launch with One UI 7, which will introduce a new user experience design. Screenshots indicate that the new status bar icons and widgets are akin to those in iOS, sparking mixed feelings about the design.
Color Option
The S25 series will be available in several exciting colors like titanium blue and silver, with exclusive online color options also expected.
